What is this emotion that humanity can feel? We can feel it for objects, ideas, words, foods, and people. It seems that no matter who you are, race, gender, or religous orientation; humanity was born to feel this. Everyone on the planet has the ability to feel this emotion and show it and, at one point in their lives, has loved something or someone.
We could boil it down to the molecules and enzymes in the brain that allow, trigger, and are affected by this emotion... But in a true sense of the nature of the word, we are born to love.

--------------------------------------------------------

So, my dear (do not take "my" impersonally... As you are in my heart you are mine... and if you deny yourself as such, I will always keep you in my heart, and therefore no matter your decision, you are mine until that organ stops beating in my chest and lies silent.) What is love?
It's intruiging isn't it? Even dictionary.com and all the minds in the world really cannot pinpoint the exact description of the word.

I guess it's having strong affection for someone... But that doesn't quite do it does it?
I mean I could tell you I am profoundly tender for you... But it doesn't quite sound right...
I could tell you I'm affectionate for you, devoted to you, enjoy you, am loyal to you, mad for you, passionate about you, respect you, have a weakness for you, am wild for you, or that I yearn for you.

But even those don't quite relay it do they?

I guess no matter how we try to disect the word and emotion, no matter how much science and mind tries to put an exact feeling on the matter, we still cannot truely know what it is.

So I guess I'll have to stick to layman's terms. Old-fashioned. Plain and simple. Straight and to the point.

I Love You.
Huh...
Never thought of it that way...

I still say love does not exist in the social sense. xD
