What is this emotion that humanity can feel? We can feel it for objects, ideas, words, foods, and people. It seems that no matter who you are, race, gender, or religous orientation; humanity was born to feel this. Everyone on the planet has the ability to feel this emotion and show it and, at one point in their lives, has loved something or someone.
We could boil it down to the molecules and enzymes in the brain that allow, trigger, and are affected by this emotion... But in a true sense of the nature of the word, we are born to love.
--------------------------------------------------------
So, my dear (do not take "my" impersonally... As you are in my heart you are mine... and if you deny yourself as such, I will always keep you in my heart, and therefore no matter your decision, you are mine until that organ stops beating in my chest and lies silent.) What is love?
It's intruiging isn't it? Even dictionary.com and all the minds in the world really cannot pinpoint the exact description of the word.
I guess it's having strong affection for someone... But that doesn't quite do it does it?
I mean I could tell you I am profoundly tender for you... But it doesn't quite sound right...
I could tell you I'm affectionate for you, devoted to you, enjoy you, am loyal to you, mad for you, passionate about you, respect you, have a weakness for you, am wild for you, or that I yearn for you.
But even those don't quite relay it do they?
I guess no matter how we try to disect the word and emotion, no matter how much science and mind tries to put an exact feeling on the matter, we still cannot truely know what it is.
So I guess I'll have to stick to layman's terms. Old-fashioned. Plain and simple. Straight and to the point.

I Love You.
Literature
why didn't you say goodbye?
Love wasnt in the air the night you unbuttoned my shirt and kissed my skin. No, love definitely wasnt in the air the night we spent in heat of moments, sweating and tumbling and fumbling on your fathers bed.
It was anywhere but there. Does love go on vacation? I ponder and make fleshy butterflies from my outstretched fingers. Probably.
I cant remember much but I can remember the beginning. The burn of acid bleeding and gushing past my tongue and down my throat. The noises and then your silence. The clumsiness and then the awkward kisses.
You had a garden of dark hair growing from your scalp and dirt eyes. You had a
Literature
A simple love
Your lips, your embrace
Youd never know the ways I love you
Words are never enough for how I feel
How I love you so
Me encanta tu alma, tu sonrisa
Cada momento contigo soy feliz
Cada día te quiero
Simplemente, te quiero
Everything about you I cherish
From the breath you take to the step you take
Youll never know how much you mean to me
How much I truly love you
My love, for all eternity
I love you more than you will ever know
Literature
What I would do for you
How much do you mean to me?
I'm surprised that you had to ask
I'll answer that question in a heartbeat
It will be my simplest task
I want to hold you whenever you're sad
My heart stops when a tear rolls down your cheek
I'm determined to keep you laughing
I strive for the things that you seek
Life seems so worthless without you
I'm never going to let you go
I'd be nothing if you stopped loving me
Maybe it just doesn't show
And if a door closes for you
I pray that one more opens soon
I'd walk to the ends of the earth
Just to be with you
All these words that I said
Were simple, yet true
Therefore, shed those doubts and worries

I still say love does not exist in the social sense. xD
